WeSDEx2021

The Web and System Design Exhibition (WeSDEx) is a Virtual Exhibition organized by Faculty of Information Technology and Multimedia, MiCoST in collaboration with Fakulti Teknologi Maklumat dan Media Digital, KUIM and Encora Technologies Sdn Bhd.

This exhibition aimed to encourage secondary school’s students and diploma level's students to produce commercially valuable work. Besides that, this exhibition is engage in innovation and design through the sharing of expertise as well commercialize creative and innovative ideas.

Melaka International College of Science and Technology is a college in Malacca, Malaysia. Foundied in 2006, MiCoST is run by the Melaka State Foundation under its subsidiary company, YM Mediscience Sdn Bhd. MiCoST has diplomas programs in business, social studies, pharmacy, computer science and other fields.

Kolej Universiti Islam Melaka atau dikenali sebagai KUIM adalah sebuah institusi pendidikan tinggi yang dimiliki oleh negeri Melaka dan ditubuhkan pada tahun 1996. KUIM telah dinaik taraf kepada sebuah kolej universiti pada tahun 2009 oleh Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi Malaysia. Dahulu dikenali sebagai Kolej Teknologi Islam Antarabangsa Melaka (KTIAM).

Rule

Rules and Regulations

  1. Open to ALL  students from institutions of higher learning (Diploma), and secondary school.

  2. The number of categories and fee for each entry is as follows: 

    • Diploma: 1-3 persons including 1 supervisor per group (RM30.00)

    • Secondary School: 1-3 persons including 1 supervisor per group (RM20.00)

  3. Projects that have participated in any competition are not eligible to join this competition unless improvements have been made.

  4. The organizer has the right to reject any application it deems unsuitable for the competition.

  5. The organizer reserves the right to reject any application in the event of falsification of information.

  6. VIRTUAL CERTIFICATE of participation will be issued.

  7. All decisions of the competition are final and no disputes or appeals will be entertained.

Melaka International College of Science and Technology (MICoST) would like to invite qualified candidates to be part of WeSDEx2021 team as juries. 

​

Rules and regulations

  • NOT PARTICIPATING in WeSDEx2021.

  • Vast experience in invention, innovation and design competition as participant and judge.

  • Those who have experience as jury in previous competitions will be given priority to become WeSDEx2021 jury.

 

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate videos within the given time.

  • Evaluate videos based on the rubric.
